Today’s activities is all about Under the sea. This morning’s task was to create an underwater scene and the goal of it is to be as creative as you can. I made a Christmas themed underwater scene using google images, craiyon AI and google slides (plus template). Fun fact on jellyfishes: Did you know they aren’t really a fish because they don’t have scales, gills, or fins like fish? Instead, they swim by opening and closing their ‘bells’.

This afternoon’s task was Step It Up to previous activity (last post). This time, it is anything that is a rebus puzzle. I choose to do a guess a movie. I got that idea from my mum’s computer. I found it real easy because all you have to do is to find the emoji that matches. This is what mine looked like.

This morning’s activity is to create a rebus puzzle based story. You had to create a story using emojis. You can still use word. My one goes like this.

On the task, it told me to ask others whether they can solve it or not. So that is my question. To check the answer, it is below:

She and her sisters had magic.

Her magic was everything, her sisters’ magic was in this order;  egg, invisible, steal, swimming ballerina, cups, water, smaller, copying.

She and her sisters had these animals; turtle, lion, tiger, cat, dog, monkey, wolf, bear, koala, panda, hamster, mouse, rabbit, fox, raccoon, cow, pig, boar, zebra, unicorn, horse, and more.

 

One day, Isa and six of her sisters played outside.

They played with their animals.

Two sisters planed a potion with mosquito…

…mosquito in a potion of evil.

Elizabeth and Invisibella was so angry/annoyed towards Isa and her six sisters with a mosquito potion.

The seven of them came back inside.

They were surrounded by mosquito.

Isa killed all the mosquito with a blast of her magic.

Elizabeth and Invisibella felt so angry, even angrier than before.

5 years later…

The seven of them went out to play.

The two of them could not think of what.

They went to join their sisters.

They played happily together.

They played with the animals.

And they lived happily ever after.

Today’s activity was based tangram.

I found this more challenging as it took more time to solve due to the level of advanced.

I found them all as easy as each other. The hardest was the 1st one (1st image).

In the afternoon, the Step it Up activity came out, adding on to the previous activity (last post). But instead of using shapes, it is all about using numbers!

Which did you find harder and why?

This morning’s task was Which one doesn’t belong Kick Start. The activity was to give a reason why each shape does not belong to the rest. I made a copy of the questions template and answered the questions. On the last slide, it told me to make my own so I did. Here it is.

Today’s task for me is to create a PacWally animation as a Step It Up activity. I used a template for the task and added on to it. I found it fun thinking of what will happen next. My animation resulted like this.

In this animation, the character was a mix of Pacman and Wally. What combination/s can you think of?

Today, I chose to do an activity where you have to make your own Where’s Wally. I made a copy of the Where’s … template and it came with three slides that were already made. Those slides are the first three Where’s Mrs Taylor. I created the remaining four and the answers. I found it fun solving three and hiding four.

Today’s activity I did on the Summer Learning Journey was creating Summer styles Heather Brown inspired artworks. The options were draw it yourself or fill in the colours of the pre-made one, and I chose to fill in the pre-made one. I used the gradient colours for some of the effects. My finished outlook came out as this.
