One of the tasks for SLJ was design a machine that will help to sleep and wake up. Just to clarify, SLJ stands for Summer Learning journey. I designed one and named it The Brainvigorator. This is what I created.
Christmas Carols Reading
This week for reading, we have been learning about Christmas Carols. I chose to do tasks on Jingle Bells. This is information about Jingle Bells.
Born in 1822, songwriter James Lord Pierpont composed the music and wrote the lyrics for the holiday standard.
When the holiday ditty was first printed by a Boston music publishing house in 1857, it was released under the title “One Horse Open Sleigh.” When it was reissued two years later, the song had the more familiar title of “Jingle Bells.”
Although “Jingle Bells” is now a Yuletide (christmas) staple, there is no mention of Christmas or any other holiday in the song. Some historical accounts report that the tune was first performed for a Thanksgiving service at the church of either Pierpont’s father or brother, but the lyrics might have been too risqué for an ecclesiastical (church) audience. It was the first song to be broadcasted from space.
One of the tasks are design your own bell. This is my bell.
Stewardship Poster
Today, we have been creating a poster about stewardship. Being stewardship is important because Earth is our home. This is my Poster.
Stewardship
Stewardship is caring for the Earth our homes. Today, we have been learning about how to be stewards of this world. To be stewards of this world, you could do little things to change the way we live by doing different things like
- Pick up rubbish and put it in the right place
- Don´t litter
- Reduce plastic use
- Plant more trees and plants
- Reuse more things
- Think about the future and do the right thing
- Watch nature more and help the Earth grow rather than playing computer games
- Don´t hurt trees, plants or anything part of nature
- Produce less gas from factories
By the way we´re living right now, the Earth is threatened by us. We can help the Earth be a better place by doing the right thing. This is a video we watched about we can be stewards of the Earth.
My Term Reflection 2022
For today, we had to make a reflection on term 3.

I found maths and reading tests quite challenging.
I would like to learn new stuff like new art designs next term.
School Production
For the last few weeks, we had been focusing on a production performance. The title was called Jonah a fishy tail. Everybody got a turn to be seen onstage by doing a dance while singing. There were 7 songs and 4 backgrounds. Our class got to be the sea creatures. We had 3 songs. Our songs was called Belly of a whale, Lord rescue me and Gods love, don´t stop. I was a puffer fish in the middle row. I was excited for the real performance but I was sick so I stayed home.
Do you like performances?
Teddy Toy Persuasive Writing

Assumption Day 2022
This week, we are celebrating Mary because she was so holy, when she died, God sent her up to heaven. We call that Assumption Day. We celebrated Assumption Day by making a mossic of Mary on a google drawing. We used a tool called curve. This is my mossic of Mary.
How do you celebrate Assumption Day?
Cybersmart Comix Strip
This week for cybersmart, we had to make a comix strip of how negtive and postive coments make us feel. We wanted our coments to be postive, thoughtful and helpful. My comix strip explains 1 negtive coment can cause how much trouble. Square 1 shows us that we are blogging. Square 2 shows us that someone posted a negtive coment. Square 3 shows that you are sad. Square 4 shows your previous cybersmart lessons. Square 5 shows an adult reporting the author of the bad coment. Square 6 shows the author deleting the comment and replacing the comment. Finally square 7 shows you are happily blogging again. This is my comix strip.
What makes you happy and what makes you upset?
