Autumn Learning Journey: Activity 10 – Rainbow Autumn

During this school holidays, there is this programme called Autumn Learning Journey. It is where you complete as many activities as you can. One of the activities is finding a set of leaves in rainbow order. This is my rainbow set of leaves.

Why do you think the leaves change colours in Autumn?

  1. Kia ora Isa,

What beautiful leaves. Did it take you a long time to find them all? Or where they all from the same tree? I love the autumn colours, and the leaves are great for the compost bin!

Keep up the great learning and blogging,

    1. Kia Ora Sharon,
No, it did not take that long to find them. I couldn’t get all of the colours because I didn’t have a tree that had all the colours. Most of the colours aren’t actually from our trees because I went out one day to someone else’s place and they allowed me to pick some leaves of the ground. I had lots of fun picking the colourful leaves there as well.
