For the last few weeks, we had been focusing on a production performance. The title was called Jonah a fishy tail. Everybody got a turn to be seen onstage by doing a dance while singing. There were 7 songs and 4 backgrounds. Our class got to be the sea creatures. We had 3 songs. Our songs was called Belly of a whale, Lord rescue me and Gods love, don´t stop. I was a puffer fish in the middle row. I was excited for the real performance but I was sick so I stayed home.
Do you like performances?
This week, we have been learning write persuasively. We had to persuade people to buy our toy. Our toy needed a name and some features to persuade people. My toy was called Teddy Toys. I found it challenging to not to be scared when recording. Here is a video of me advertising.

Today for poetry, we made diamante poem on seasons. The purpose of it was to write to things opposite each other. I had thought of spring and summer but decided to do it on spring and autumn. Here is my diamante poem.

This week, we are celebrating Mary because she was so holy, when she died, God sent her up to heaven. We call that Assumption Day. We celebrated Assumption Day by making a mossic of Mary on a google drawing. We used a tool called curve. This is my mossic of Mary.

How do you celebrate Assumption Day?
This week for cybersmart, we had to make a comix strip of how negtive and postive coments make us feel. We wanted our coments to be postive, thoughtful and helpful. My comix strip explains 1 negtive coment can cause how much trouble. Square 1 shows us that we are blogging. Square 2 shows us that someone posted a negtive coment. Square 3 shows that you are sad. Square 4 shows your previous cybersmart lessons. Square 5 shows an adult reporting the author of the bad coment. Square 6 shows the author deleting the comment and replacing the comment. Finally square 7 shows you are happily blogging again. This is my comix strip.

This week for RE, our mission was to make a Biteable on Jonah and the whale. A Biteable is a type of video animation of something. Our 2nd option was to make a comix strip in our RE books. I chose to do the comix strip. Here is my work.

Today, we were learning to write a dimante poem. A dimante poem includes 7 lines, 6 nowns, 6 verbs and 4 adjectives. Line 1 would have 1 nown, line 2: 2 adjectives, line 3: 3 vrebs, line 4: 4 nowns, line 5: 3 verbs, line 6: 2 adjectives and line 7 would have 1 nown. Our subject had to be the moon and sun. Here is my work.

How can I improve this?
For the holidays, we had home learning on Lego. We had an option of building a volcano or a rainbow. I picked to build a rainbow. It was hard at first because I had to think of how to make it but once I finished it, it was easy to break and rebuild. I made a slideshow of how to make it too.
