This week, our old class teacher is leaving for maternity leave. It is very exciting for a new baby to be born! Meanwhile, we have a new teacher replacing her until she comes back. She likes habitats, so that’s what we learnt with her on Tuesday for science. We didn’t have much time, but I already learnt a few things. I think the main thing I learnt from that lesson is what biotic and abiotic is. Biotic means basically anything living, like bacteria, animals, and plants. Abiotic is the opposite of biotic, meaning non-living things. Examples of abiotic things are the sun, water, humidity, soil, temperature, and air. This is a picture I found on Google, giving examples of biotic and abiotic things.

What else do you know about habitats?
